French born, Polish raised pianist Graciella Kowalczyk has appeared in concerts and recitals as a soloist in over fifteen countries and four continents, including the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Poland; Sergei Rachmaninov Concert Hall in Moscow, Russia; Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria; Bellini Conservatory in Palermo, Italy; Kolner Philharmonic in Koln, Germany; Ed Landreth Auditorium in Fort Worth, TX; Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel in Parkville, MO; Bragg Auditorium in Kansas City, MO; Medellin Philharmonic, Medellin, Colombia.

In the recent years, Graciella has received various   awards including

First Prize in the Philharmonia of Greater Kansas City Concerto Competition, 2007

First Prize in the Jefferson City Symphony Concerto Competition, 2007

Grand Prize in the Naftzger International Young Artist Competition,Wichita, 2005

First Prize in the International Seiler Piano Competition, Italy 2001

First Prize in the International Young Artist Competition, Germany 1998  (the prize included scholarship to study at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow)

First Prize in the All-Poland Piano Competition, when she received an award from the Polish Ministry of Culture and Art.

She has also been awarded several scholarships from different International Foundations including the Louis-Spohr Forderverein, Germany; Internationale Stiftung fur Music, Switzerland; Lili Kraus Scholarship, Fort Worth, TX, and Mu Phi Epsilon, International Music Fraternity, Kansas City, MO; Kansas City Musical Club, Kansas City, MO.

Graciella received her doctorate in piano performance from the University of Kansas. She is presently enjoying a very successful musical career and also serves as Artistic Director for the international non-profit foundation, Doctors for Music…Where Medicine Meets the Arts. Graciella previously studied at the Chopin School of Music in Warsaw, Poland; Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Russia; Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas; and Park University in Parkville, Missouri.

She has taken lessons and participated in Master classes with many distinguished pianists such as D.Bashkirov, R.Buchbinder, S.Dorenski, J.Feghali, R.Goode, S.Ioudenitch, N.Lugansky, H.Martina, D.Mirska, W.Nabore, P.Nersessian, J.Owings, A.Pisarev, J.Perry, E.Pridonoff, Z.Zohar, J.Winerock among others.
